It is the intention of the owner of Salsa Peru to open a bar in Cusco dedicated solely to Latino music and dance.  The bar will be called Barracuda in honour of the place where I learned salsa in Birmingham,  England courtesy of Val Kirk and Enrico Vina and the rest of the Salsa King team.  They were the ones who gave me the gift of salsa and who initiated this whole journey.

The journey has not been without it's rocky patches however.

In November 2005 premises were secured at 230 Calle Marquese in Cusco on two floors on the understanding that a separate entrance was to be constructed at the expense of the owner,  Mr Edmundo Lopez,  in time for opening on December 1st.

Unfortunately it turned out to be a scam and all I got from Mr Lopez were excuses,  lies and more lies.  He then used the large amount of money I had paid him in rent and guarantees to go to California after leaving the premises in a condition which made it impossible to open any business there let alone a salsa bar.

I have taken legal advice  to attempt to recover the money I was swindled out of,  it may take time but I will not give up.

Now the search is on for new premises and this time I will take the legal advice before signing any contracts and make sure that nothing is taken on trust.

Es la intención del dueño de Salsa Perú de abrir una barra en Cusco dedicó únicamente a la música y el baile latinos. La barra se llamará Barrucuda en honor al lugar donde aprendió salsa en Birmingham, Inglaterra,  la cortesía de  Val Kirk y Enrico Viña y del resto del equipo de Rey de Salsa.  Ellos eran los que me dieron el obsequio de salsa y que iniciaron este viaje entero.

El viaje no ha estado sin lo es parches rocosos sin embargo.

En noviembre 2005 un locale se aseguró en 230 Calle Marquese en Cusco en dos pisos en la comprensión que una entrada separada debía ser construida a costa del dueño,  Sr Edmundo Lopez, en el tiempo para abrir el primero de Diciembre.

Desgraciadamente resultó ser una estafa y todo obtuve de Sr Lopez eran las excusas, las mentiras y más mentiras.  El entonces utilizó la cantidad grande de dinero que yo lo había pagado en alquiler y garantías para ir a California después que salir el local en una condición que hizo imposible abrir cualquier negocio.

He tomado el asesoramiento jurídico para procurar recuperar el dinero que yo me fui estafado fuera de, puede tomar tiempo pero yo no renunciaré

Ahora la búsqueda está en para el local nuevo y esta vez yo tomaré el asesoramiento jurídico antes firmar cualquiera contrata y se cerciora ese nada se toma la confianza.
